Moina’s Skirt features art by Aimee Cribbs who doesn’t want her commission cut, therefore, 10% of the sales of this skirt goes to Moina Michael’s Poppy Project. And that explains the name of this skirt.
Moina’s Skirt is named after Moina Michael, the Poppy Lady. Poppy flowers on this skirt art part of the watercolor painting by Ellijay’s artist Aimee Cribbs. The poppy flowers and the stripes make a very modern design. You will look hip no matter where you go wearing this skirt. Single color top, long or shorter, maybe red and black should be your choices (yeah, we are from Athens after all). Comfort along with the cool look. You can’t beat that.
The front of the skirt is custom designed and printed in the south on 100% organic knit. Each piece is a unique original. No design is like another.
Model is wearing a small. She stands 5’6” tall.
About the Artist:
Aimee Cribbs is an artist from North Georgia’s Ellijay. She taught elementary art for 13 years in Title I schools in urban and rural Georgia. Her artistic style is much like her former students... a little bit all over the place. She prefers painting, especially the texture of oils, but she enjoys the challenge of using different media. Her work is inspired by ordinary moments, her family and her life in the mountains. You can find her work on Facebook at Good Earth Designs.
